Ingredients in Cherry Squares

• 1/2 lb butter
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tsp almond extract
• 3 cups flour
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 can (22 ounce) cherry pie filling

To make Cherry Squares

1. Mix butter and sugar together then add eggs one at a time.
2. Add vanilla and almond extract and beat well.
3. Add flour one cup at a time.
4. Add milk and beat for 3 minutes. Spread half the mixture into a well-greased 10” x 15” pan.
5. Spread pie filling over mixture and drop remaining mixture over cherries.
6. Bake in 350° F oven for 30 minutes or until top is browning.
7. Cool well before slicing into 2” squares.
