Recipe: Salmon Party Log
Salmon Party Log
- 1 pound can red salmon
- 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp prepared horseradish
- 1/4 tsp
sea salt
- 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 3 tbsp snipped parsley
- 2 tsp fresh grated onion
To make Salmon Party Log
- Drain and flake the salmon, removing any skin and bones.
- Combine the cream cheese with the lemon juice, horseradish, sea salt, liquid smoke, and grated onion. Mix well.
- Mix the cheese mixture with the salmon, cover and refrigerate for several hours so it becomes firm.
- Combine the pecans and parsley and spread evenly on a cutting board.
- Form the salmon and cheese mixture into an 8 inch long, 2 inch diameter salmon log.
- Roll the salmon log in the pecan and parsley mixture; chill well before serving.
