Recipe: Saucy Steak
- 1 - 2 pound round, flank or london broil steak
- 2 or 3 hot peppers
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green or red pepper, chopped
- 1/4 tsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp orange juice
- red wine, brandy, or sherry to cover
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp chives
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- drop of Tabasco
- pinch of sugar
- drop of Worcestershire sauce
- parsley
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Marinate steak at least 2 hours.
- Remove steak from marinade, reserve marinade.
- Cook steak as desired.
- Cook to reduce marinade; strain marinade and serve over steak.
