Recipe: Spiced Apples

Recipes using McCormick Whole Cloves

Spiced Apples Ingredients

• 1 quart water
• 2 cups sugar
• 2 tbsp white vinegar
• 1 tbsp whole allspice
• 1 tbsp whole cloves
• 4 to 5 pounds of apples

To make Spiced Apples

1. Wash, core, and quarter apples.
2. In a large pot, bring sugar, water, and vinegar to a boil.
3. Add spices.
4. Add apples quarters to the pot, a little at a time, and bowl slowly until the apples are tender.
5. Using a slotted spoon, remove the apples from the pan, and allow to cool before serving.
