Recipe: Spinach Cheese Pie

Recipes using Tones Chopped Chives

• 1 10oz pkg frozen chopped spinach
• 6 eggs, slightly beaten
• 1 3oz pkg cream cheese
• 1/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
• 1/2 tsp chopped dried chives
• 1 tbsp parsley flakes
• 1/2 tsp salt
• pepper to taste
• 1 9 inch unbaked pastry shell
• 2 tbsps grated Parmesan cheese

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Cook spinach according to pkg directions; drain in colander.
3. Combine eggs, cream cheese and sharp Cheddar cheese.
4. Stir in spinach, chives, parsley, salt and pepper.
5. Turn into pastry crust.
6. Top with Parmesan cheese.
7. Bake 25 minutes.
