Recipe: Stuffed Tomatoes
- 6 large tomatoes
- 4 ounce butter
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1 1/2 tsp chopped garlic
- 1/2 pound finely chopped
- ham, shrimp or crab
- salt, pepper, paprika and bread crumbs
- 1 cup of wet bread
- Slice tops off tomatoes and scoop out. Chop meat of tomato.
- Saute onions in butter with garlic, chopped ham (or shrimp or crab), and tomato.
- Add wet bread. Season with salt and pepper, stuff into tomato shells.
- Cover with bread crumbs and paprika, dot with butter and bake at 350° F for 10 minutes.
Recipe makes 6 servings of Stuffed Tomatoes.
