Recipe: Swedish Meat Balls

Recipes using Tones Ground Paprika

• 1 lb lean ground beef
• 1/2 lb lean ground pork
• 1/2 cup onion, minced
• 3/4 cup fine dry unseasoned bread crumbs
• 1 tbsp parsley, minced
• 1 1/2 tsp sea salt
• 1/3 tsp white pepper
• 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup low fat milk
• 1/4 cut canola oil
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp sea salt
• 1/2 tsp white pepper
• 2 cups boiling water
• 3/4 cups sour cream

Mix the first 10 ingredients thoroughly. Shape into balls the size of a golfball. Brown in oil in deep skillet. Remove meat and stir the flour, paprika, salt, and pepper into oil. Stir in the boiling water and cream. Mix well. Return meat to gravy. Cook 15-20 minutes. Serves 6-8. Delicious served with rice or egg noodles.
