Recipe: Turkey Patties
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 slice firm white bread (Italian or Homemade White)
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 large egg
- 3 cups finely shredded cabbage
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- Beat egg in a large bowl.
- Tear bread into pieces and stir into beaten egg.
- Let bread soak and break up pieces again.
- Add remaining ingredients and mix until well blended. Shape into 6 patties.
- Cook in a skillet with a little butter over medium heat about 6-8 minutes. Turn and cook other side about 4 minutes.
