Recipe: White Wine BBQ Sauce

Recipes using Tones Curry Powder

• 1/8 cup butter or margarine
• 2 tbsps garlic, minced
• 1 1/2 cup Worchestershire sauce
• 6 oz apple cider vinegar
• 1/4 cup apple cider
• 1 1/2 cups onion, chopped
• 2 tbsps chili powder
• 1 1/2 cups tomato paste
• 1 cup brown sugar
• stock as needed

Heat butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add onions and garlic. Saute for 2-3 minutes until aroma is apparent. Add chili powder. Saute the mixture for another 30-40 seconds. Add Worchestershire sauce, tomato paste, vinegar, brown sugar and cider. Simmer the sauce for 20 minutes or until it is somewhat thickened.
