Zatarain's Creole Pilaf Mix Lower Sodium 36.5oz 1.06kg
New Orleans Style 45% Less Sodium Creole Pilaf Mix with Long Grain and Wild Rice.
Oven Preparation
- In a full metal steam pan, add 11 cups hot water, 2 oz butter or margarine, (optional) and Creole Pilaf Mix package contents.
- Stir thoroughly; then cover tightly with lid or aluminum foil.
- Place into a 400° F preheated oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until rice is cooked. Do not over cook.
- Remove cooked Creole Pilaf Mix from oven and let stand for 5 minutes.
- Just before serving, stir gently to fluff rice and mix.
Makes 34 1/2 cup servings when using a #8 scoop.
Stovetop Family Size Portions of Zatarain's Creole Pilaf Mix
- Bring 2 1/3 cups of water to boil along with 1 tablespoon of butter (optional).
- Add 1 1/3 cups of Zatarain's Creole Rice Pilaf Mix. Stir. Cover.
- Cook for 20 minutes over low heat (at a simmer).
- Remove from heat. Let sit for 5 minutes, then fluff and serve.
Complete package make 4 family sized servings of Zatarain's Creole Pilaf Mix.
