Flavored with pineapple, ginger and garlic, these ribs are very tasty and it is a simple recipe for a weeknight as long as the ribs are\u00c2\u00a0thawed.<\/p>\n<p>Start with:<br \/>\n2 pounds of boneless pork country ribs<\/p>\n<p>Chop the ribs into 3 to 4 inch long chunks. Place a large 10 quart sized non-stick pan on the stove, and season with 2 tbsp canola or olive oil. Heat the pan for a minute, and then add the pork ribs. Cook over medium until the ribs are browned, stirring often to brown all sides.<\/p>\n<p>Add 1 cup fresh chopped onion, and 1 tsp chopped garlic<\/p>\n<p>Cook for 3 &#8211; 4 minutes until the onion is tender but not browned.<\/p>\n<p>Add:<br \/>\n1 20 ounce can pineapple chunks<br \/>\n1 cup black vinegar<br \/>\n2 tbsp <a title=\"Lea &#038; Perrins Worcestershire Sauce\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spiceplace.com\/lea_and_perrins_worcestershire.php\">Worcestershire Sauce<\/a><br \/>\n2 tsp <a title=\"McCormick Ground Ginger\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spiceplace.com\/mccormick_ground_ginger_spice.php\">ground ginger<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mix well, bring to a boil, cover, and simmer for 1 hour. Check the pot every 10 &#8211; 15 minutes and add water to the liquid should it get too thick.<\/p>\n<p>Mix 1 tbsp corn starch with 1\/2 cup water using a fork to blend well. Add to pan of ribs, stir in and cook, stirring often until sauce thickens.<\/p>\n<p>Serve with Seasoned Rice and your favorite vegetable.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seasoned Rice Recipe<\/strong><br \/>\n2 cups water<br \/>\n1 cup <a title=\"Basmati Rice\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spiceplace.com\/royal_basmati_rice.php\">basmati rice<\/a><br \/>\n1\/2 tsp ground ginger<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp <a title=\"Sesame Seed\" href=\"https:\/\/www.spiceplace.com\/mccormick_sesame_seeds.php\">sesame seed<br \/>\n<\/a>1\/2 tsp sesame oil<br \/>\n1 tbsp molasses<\/p>\n<p>Heat water to a boil in a 2 quart sauce pan. Add rice, and all seasonings. Return to boil, cover tightly, reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 10 &#8211; 12 minutes until water is absorbed. Remove from heat, and let sit covered for 5 minutes.
