Ingredients:
1 C Butter
2 C firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 C buttermilk
3 1/2 C all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 C pecans
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add buttermilk and mix. Mix flour, baking soda and salt. Combine with sugar mixture. Add pecans. Chill 1 hour or more. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes. Guaranteed to melt in your mouth.
