Hello everyone. I hope your evening is going well.

I've spent the past week scouring the Internet for soup recipes. I think if I see or hear one more thing about soup I'm going to go crazy.

What I would like is to get some feedback from you fine folks on this website I've buillt, NOT ALLOWED - MAMA. What do you like about it, hate about it, what do you think needs to be added to it, etc. Any and all critiques are more than welcome. I would very much appreciate and value your honest opinion - and whether or not it's something you think you would use.

Basically the site revolves around the custom search engine I have built, and the fact that you can type in ingredients and press search and lots of recipes will show up with those ingredients in them. Do you think this is a useful site?

THANK YOU!

Well Jack - it is my opinion that when a person has a passion for soup or any food(s) and wants to start a blog or a site for it - they "don't go crazy" if they are scouring the internet for soup recipes. A person like that is just copy/pasting recipes from others to call their own.

Many of us have sites or blogs - but we are also constant contributors to this site.

I guess - since you apparently don't care to share with anyone here and you are hell-bent on getting visitors to your site at another site administrators' expense - you leave me no choice but to get "the button" ready to ban you.

In my honest opinion - if you can't start a site or a blog and accept what happens or lack of what happens and make the necessary changes yourself - then you shouldn't have one.

And if you can't satisfy yourself - then don't try to satisfy others.

Sites and blogs that are started will either succeed or fail - depending on your contributions and attitude.

So I think you should just move on and continue to copy/paste soups from other sties to YOUR soup site. Most likely - if you have any pics they are probably "borrowed" from othe sites as well.......

(how original.......)

also - since I'm on my soapbox -
don't you just love these people who have to find recipes on the internet (which many are purposely posted incorrectly by those that want you to waste your time and money - yes, there are many out there that have done it!) and they haven't done any research from actual cookbooks?????? Makes ya wonder if they ever made anything in their life or can boil water to begin with.

BTW - don't burn the cornflakes............
