Hi everybody!

Sorry for using such a long name! Magouliana is my home town, a small village
up on a mountain of Greece and Magoulianitissa means that a come from there,
like " Bostonian".
Anyway thank you for welcoming me, I feel good already to join this forum.
I just posted my recipe for cauliflower in tomato sauce which I hope you
enjoy if you try.

Welcome Magoulianitissa I like Greek food too. Thanks for the cauliflower recipe I'm always looking for new ways to use it. It's one of our favorite vegetables at our house.

Hello Chatty Cathy!
I am so flattered that you like greek cuisine. The truly traditional
greek cuisine is very tasty, healthy and interesting. I really am looking
forward to exchange ideas regarding our mutual interests in cooking.
As for you visiting the greek islands it will be so nice to have you
here, I am sure you will love it!

Hello Jfrain
I hope that you will like the cauliflower if you try it.
In my home we have it as a main dish. I use a little
extra olive oil when I cook, so with some fresh bread
the meal is satisfying.

Welcome Magoulianitissa!

We're a fine group of folks who always enjoy meeting new people and making new friends! C'mon in and make yourself at home! We're glad you're here!

Thank you, I am really enjoying this forum and glad I joined!

Welcome to the forum. I'm fairly new myself and enjoy reading about others and getting new recipe ideas.

I was in Greece last summer and loved the food. I fell in love with Greek yogurt and have been eating it (with honey of course) since I returned. My favorite is Fage total and thankfully it is sold in my local grocery store. I've even told some of my friends about it.

I'm actually planning on returning to Greece in June 2010 and I can't wait!

Hello Cheecekacelady!

Thank you for the welcome.
Next time you come to Greece, please let me know,I will be very happy
to introduce you to some other nice things here. It will not be difficult,
as Greece is a small place!
"Cheececakelady" means that you love cheececake as we all do in this
family?

Magoulianitissa,

Thanks and I'll definitely keep you in mind if I do make it back next year. Last summer we were in Athens and surrounding areas for part of the time and on a cruise through the Greek Islands for part of the time. That's probably what we will do next year if we definitely go.

Since you like cheesecakes, you may want out the web site that I recently started. If you have any great cheesecake recipes, I'd love to have you submit one for me to put on my site. Eventually I would like to start an international cheesecake section.

I hope to see you around on the forum!

Amazing Cheesecake Recipes

Dear Cheececakelady

For many years I've been making the no-bake kind of cheececake
that a friend of mine found in England and we all loved it!
I have tasted the baked kind in U.S.A., loved it but had no
recipe. Also I thought that it was hard to make. Recently I found
a recipe on you tube, which I made, but I over-baked it.
I will try your recipes from your web site. Thanks a lot for
sending it to me. I will see you in the forum!
