Nu Wave Ovens

I had one that worked great for about 3 years before it died. The cord blew off of the unit and was all burned. The second one I tried I only got around 6months use before the plastic fan inside the top where the motor is broke into several pieces.

I have a Flavor Wave oven that I got out of storage to use now. The food sits closer to the heating element in the Flavor Wave so whole chickens need to be wrapped in foil to keep from burning. The Flavor Wave doesnt have the cheap plastic dome the Nu Wave has. The heating unit sits atop a heavy plastic bowl in the FW.

I was stupid to think I would get as much use out of the second Nu Wave that I got from the first. Jon asked me if I wanted to get another one and I told him no thanks.

I was just reading reviews on the new designed Nu Wave and it still has the plastic dome and other plastic parts. I am not throwing away more money on this one.
