What are you planning for Xmas dinner?

I always know what I am having for breakfast on Christmas morning. And generally by this time of the year I have my menu all squared away for Christmas dinner. But this year I am having trouble deciding and need some fresh ideas, HELP!
Thank you, CCCathy

We generally have the traditional xmas ham. Nothing too special, just a slow cooked shoulder cut, slathered with garlic, rosemary, pancetta, and olive oil.

:) Your ham sounds good! :)

I just am craving the "extra out of the ordinary".......
Like Lobster Thermidor, and Shrimp Scampi with some really great sides.

I guess simple but elegant for the special occassion. And my fiance informed me I am doing all the cooking!

Have you considered Lobster Bisque? Here is a recipe of mine that I use. Really warms things up.. In fact, you got me thinking that maybe I might make it for xmas dinner as a side.

Thanks Jafo,
I Went There And Printed Out The Recipe!
By The Way I Love Your Recipe Site, Just Have Trouble Opening It Up Sometimes.
