White Chocolate Brownie Drops

WHITE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE DROPS
Makes about 3 Dozen Cookies

1/2 cup shortening = butter flavor preferred
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup (6 ounce package) semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
1 cup oats (Quick or Old Fashioned), uncooked
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup vanilla milk chips

Heat oven to 350ºF.

Combine shortening, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add melted chocolate chips.

In separate bowl, combine oats, flour and baking powder. Add gradually to creamed mixture at low speed. Beat until just blended.

Stir in vanilla milk chips with spoon. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.

Bake for 7 to 9 minutes or until cookies are almost set. (Centers will still be moist. DO NOT OVERBAKE. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing to cooling rack.
