Baked ziti

I am making baked ziti for dinner tonight. I am a huge fan of Italian food and try new dishes all the time. It’s a very easy recipe to make and only takes about an hour to prep and bake. If anyone has ever tried it let me know.

oh baked ziti is really good, yum. If I had any ricotta in the house I wouldn't be typing right now, I'd be off in the kitchen making baked ziti!

it is a really good dish to make to feed a crowd, too.

OH YUMMY! Im making this for Dinner tomorrow! with fresh homemade garlic bread! yummy yum!!! my favorite dish to make ever! so filling, not to fogiving though on my thighs.

You know, I grew up in an italian home and we never had baked Ziti (or any sort of baked pasta except Lasagna). I wonder if this is an American innovation?

How was the ziti? what kind of ziti did you make? Red sauce? white sauce?

Raquelita, I bet it is.

I am not Italian but I have traveled there a few times and it's interesting the things you don't see, that we are used to seeing here and calling Italian food.

I love baked ziti!!

How are you making yours? Are you doing a simple red sauce, and finishing with mozerella? Or are you going all out and layering with a mixture of ricotta, mozerella, parmesean, and garlic?

MMMMM! I really want some baked pasta now. Don't forget to update us on how your ziti turned out! :)

Yum! This sounds sooo good. I loved baked pasta dishes with a ton of melted cheese all over it!

I love Italian food. Ziti is good, but I prefer tortelini alfredo. It is SO good! I've only had it a couple times, but mmmm...I definately wouldn't mind having it again. :)

We're not big on Italian food, but I make a baked ziti that's super simple and tastes pretty darn good. It's turned into a bit of a staple here.

Mine uses provolone, sour cream and mozzarella.

Hubby loves Ziti. I usually go for the manicotti, lasagna or alfredo.

My daughter will eat anything that has spaghetti sauce on it. lol

Can you share your recipe here, shannone?

I love all pasta dishes except Pesto. It makes me gag.

Wow! Ziti is really delicious. I can bear anything with it literally. I love baked ziti. I especially go to Sbarro for their Ziti which is really delicious. Although I love ziti I still am unable to come up with my own. Amazing isn't it? Lolx.
