tilapia

Tomorrow I am going to make fried Tilapia Filets. I batter them with cornmeal, salt, and pepper. I just love tilapia. It always has such a good taste to it. We will probably have basmati white rice with it and ice tea. Maybe some sweet peas as well

I also love Tilapia. What we do is stuff them with tomatoes and onion then bake them--it locks in the flavor. They also tastes good when grilled, plus the bones are not hard to take out compared to other fish varieties.

:) Oh ok , so that is why whenever it says FIlet they are really filet. YOu know like I will buy other filet fish and I will find a few bones in them while eating. But seems as though with tilapia I dont find bones. That sounds good with the onions and tomatoes though.

I love tilapia too. It is my favorite fish and tastes delicious grilled and served with fruit salsa.

I like Tilapia when my dad cooks it. LOL I can't seem to make any fish taste good.

I have never had tilapia. However, I do have a bag that I purchased. I am wonder what is the best way to cook this fish instead of frying it. The onions and tomatos sound good but for some reason my kids don't like cooked tomatoes and they dont like onions either.

Well, for me, I like tilapia grilled or steamed. I refrained from eating it fried ever since I started dieting. My nephew doesn't like it cooked in tomatoes too or anything with sauce so maybe you can try it just grilled or steamed.

I love tilapia too. I like them fried and eaten with sliced tomatoes and fish sauce. I'm not a fan of tilapia stuffed with onions and tomatoes and wrapped with either banana leaves or aluminum foil then grilled or fried, but my parents and my other siblings seem to like them very much. It smells good though while cooking. Tilapia cooked in coconut milk is also very good.

Oh there's no recipe really. You just have to fry the tilapia. Then get a tomato or two and slice it in pieces, place it in a saucer then put a few drops of fish sauce. Then dip pieces of tilapia in it, then eat it together with rice.

I love white fish. Tilapia is really good. Hubby has made in in cornmeal before and has also baked it. Goes great with rice.

My favorite way to cook tilapia aside from just steaming and grilling is to add coconut milk on it. All you have to do is saute garlic and onions and then cook the fish in coconut milk. You could also add leafy vegetables on it if you want. I just like the taste.
