I in no way would classify this as the exact recipe for the mall drink but it certainly tastes good. I used another recipe as a guide, but didn't follow it exactly. It came out perfect in my smoothie maker. : )

Ingredients:
* 1 10oz. can frozen orange juice concentrate
* 1 banana
* 1 cup milk
* 2 cups ice cubes
* 1/4 granulated sugar

Directions:
* put everything in a smoothie maker and mix. Dispense and drink through a straw and envision you're in the mall.

It's good, I even got the approval from my picky four year old. As an aside I used low acid orange juice concentrate. I get migraines triggered from the normal orange juice - concentrate or fresh. I also use 1% milk. I'm not sure what they use at the mall, but I suspect it'd be fine with any milk. I think it just is added to help make the mix frothy.

Okay, I made this again tonight. We didn't have any bananas so I had to do without that. And I realized that it was a bit on the tart side last time so I did 1/3 cup granulated sugar instead of 1/4 and it was much better. : )

May I add a variation?? This is something I just tossed together - and it was good!

2 cups orange juice
1 (15 ounce) can crushed pineapple jn juice
2 teaspoons white sugar or sweetener to taste
10 cubes ice

In a blender, combine orange juice, pineapple, sugar and ice cubes. Blend on low until there are no more chunks of ice. Blend on high until smooth and frothy. Pour into 2 glasses and serve.

That sounds good, too. I'd definitely add a banana to that as my favorite juice has always been Dole's pineapple-orange banana juice.
