While we are on the subject of voting.....can we vote to have a mascot for SpicePlace? I thought this guy would make a most excellent mascot:


And then we can all vote to pick a name out for him!

I can read this old bears mind and he's saying something along the lines "My favorite spice is HONEY!" hee-hee he doesn't even realize honey isn't exactly classified as a spice, but he really could care less!
 
I think we should call him Kevin lol.
I think he makes a great mascott.

Well, obviously I am super-partial to bears- Ha!

At first I thought we should call him "Mama's Bouncer"... but then I realized MAMA would pro'lly the bouncer in almost any given situation! Ha!

So now I'm thinkin' "Mama's Sous Chef"!

Also- since a loaded picnic basket is one of my fav things, and since our very friendly l'il kitchen-corner of the web is SO welcoming to new-comers... I like the idea of a Yogi & Boo-Boo style "Welcome To Jellystone Park" welcome-wagon concept! Ha!

Hey Kev great idea! And bouncing along with your idea maybe we could have the ole bear saying something like "I came, I read, I liked, I stayed!" Be like our SpicePlace Bear "name goes here" and come back often!
 
Personally - I think I'd prefer as my first choice - Sean Connery - the one man in this world that can park his shoes under my bed anytiime!

My second choice - Smokey's cousin - make sure he has a fire extinguisher handy as well.

I'd be gentle with him - wouldn't want to scare him off (the bear silly - not Sean Connery!)

Most likely - that bear looks like a big mush - a pushover - send him my way - I'll toughen him up!

LOL

Sean Connery? Just brings on more hot flashes thinking of him.......................

"LeftoverLou" is excellent MamaM!!! Look at him just sitting there waiting on those left-overs I love it!!! How about everyone else?

How can we post "LeftoverLou" for all to see when they first log on to SP? Then with a catchy little welcome phrase like Kev mentioned and we'll have a really unique thing going on here! (As if we don't already:))

Also Eddie just suggested "Come on guys I'm running out of time here, bring on the posts!"

How adorable - Guiseppe (the red hot Italian lover) is whispering sweet nothings into Concetta's ear! Soon they will tie the knot and many beautiful little owls will follow!

He's won her heart with all those warm and fuzzy (YUCK) critters he's been bringing her.

Together they will open a family restaurant called THE OWL'S NEST and live happily ever-after.
