We are not responding to new people very well. Universalcousine introduced her/him self about a week ago with only one response. I know the mention of the "blog" is scaring everyone away but there was no link to it and a lot of folks on this forum have a blog. We need to get a little friendlier around here.

We have also been hit with dozens of spammers as well - and the site has been a bit quiet - welcome to Univesal - please feel free to share some of your recipes with us - we love new recipes and ideas.

I have not posted a welcome being so new myself, somehow being so new I didn't feel right about it. But I will change. I enjoyed my welcome. Thanks again CF:)

I was not trying to be unfriendly. I have been busy this week making pickles and trying to get my herbs dried and put away from the garden. Jon's computer crashed and has been nothing but problems trying to get back up and going.
I had read Universal's post and decided to just wait and see after I read they had a blog. Like Mama said we would love to hear and recipes or ideas Universal has to share.

Am I missing something? I didn't realize blogs were a bad thing. I have a blog and enjoy it a lot. Its not about cooking its about farming. I do think I like cooking the most. CF:)
