The Heat Is On And On And On ....

I waited til 9 tonight and went to the grocery store just before they closed because it has been so hot out today. The heat is something else!

Supposed to be even hotter tomorrow and Sunday. Our temps today were 100 plus high humidity so I cannot imagine what the weekend has to offer.

Makes me very very grateful we have air conditioning and that the electric bill is included in our rent.
I hate this type of weather. The only good things about summer are fresh tomatoes and basil from the garden.

I do my grocery shopping at about 7:00 AM. Very cool and every checker is free. A lot of stockers in the aisle but thats OK too.

Yeah we do that sometimes. On the 7th I have to go and get groceries for my bro. He has MS. They powers that be around here scheduled the route 60 yard sale for the 6th and 7th of August and schools starts on the 5th. Always in the past they have had it the weekend before school starts. There are so many people out the days that goes on you can go no where fast. It is a pain in the rear! It is going to be a nightmare for people trying to get to work or school on the 6th which is a Friday. I plan to leave to pick up my bro's groceries about 5am so I can get back before the yard sale traffic starts. Atleast I hope to get back before it gets to bad.

We were in the upper 80's today so it was a little break.
Gardens came on hard the past three weeks and are all pretty much done. Tomatoes are taking on the taste they get in the fall already and they just started getting ripe a few weeks ago.
