This is a great country- a great world... For many of us, in addition
to eating- another pleasure is travel. And each region has its food
wonders that its best known for. Whether it be Lobster and blueberries
in Maine, Crab on the East Coast and in the Pacific North-West, Cajun &
Creole Cuisine in New Orlens, Grouper Sandiwiches & Conch Fritters in
Florida, Salmon in Alaska, Beef in Kansas, or Fajitas and Guacamole in
Arizona and Southern Cali- there's hardly a nook or cranny anywhere
that ain't known for its own uniquely true taste. Then of course this
is compounded a thousand-fold when one decides to cross borders and
climb aboard airplanes! WHERE do you TRAVEL, for the BEST of WHAT
TASTES?

North Carolona and Maryland for seafood is my #1 destination.

But, as you point out, there are so many great food destinations. I'd once hoped to start a newsletter on that topic; basically Rachael Ray's Tasty Travels on a literate level.

Unfortunately, the financing wasn't there. :(
