can we get back to cooking? This is a forum site about food and cookery, remember?

An interesting week for sure. We've talked about dealing with telemarketers, and spam, and gardening, and animal mascots. We've explored herbalism, and the treatment of "women's ailments", and, God save us, politics.

What we haven't done, much of, is discuss cooking. Or shared a lot of recipes.

I say, let's get back to basics.

Great Suggestion Brook!

I have several varieties of eggplant that are ready now, and I am trying to think outside the box to prepare them. MamaM gave me some excellent recipes for veggie recipes a good wile back. I am going to give some a try and then post my results this weekend! If anyone else has anymore ideas I am open to suggestions

Yes it is a cooking site - and this is a chat thread for chatting too - recipes are still being posted - so we haven't done anything wrong.

It's nice for a cooking site to have a chat thread - at least that is my opinion.

Chatter is for anything not cooking related. Sharing recipes is wonderful but its nice to chat about other things.
