maybe it's allergic to humans - after all - many are allergic to cats.........
Yes Sir. You officially have a cat now. You feed it. You own it.
Following that logic I own a whole lot lol. I am very allergic to cats. They trigger my asthma almost instantly.
I tried to spray the cat with some flea spray last night and it went nuts and took off. Have not seen it today. I made a mistake feeding it. It is trying to get in everyone's door here. I have tried to get a couple of friends with farms to take it for a barn cat but no takers yet. My brother said if it is still here next week when he comes to town he will take it home with him. He wants a cat to catch mice and they live out in the country.

oh oh now you're the kitty's doc too - boy have they got you pegged!!
Unfortunately around here just about every outside cat you see sneezes and has infection in its eyes. Jon's brother's kids have about two dozen of them roaming his place all of which are sick. It is the reason I cannot stand to go to their house. Jon's Dad's neighbors let their cats reproduce and one day while we were going to his Dads this tiny little kitten from their house walks right out in front of our car because its little eyes were stuck together and it could not see so it walked right out into the road. I got out and got the kitten and put it back on their porch. The next day I took them ointment and other stuff to clean their eyes and gave it to them. Asked them a few weeks later if the used it and they said no because they were afraid it would hurt the kittens  Letting them suffer with the infection was way more safe.
Our vet here is very expensive for even an office visit. When I got my first bunny I researched and talked to breeders and learned things you could do for them from the local feed store but some things simply require a vet. I am careful about getting around sick animals because I do not want to risk bringing anything in on Pooh who is almost 13 or Spike. I was not trying to pass myself off as some animal doctor. I just think it is better to air on the side of caution when it comes to maybe exposing my own animals to anything. It saves them the unnecessary suffering and honestly it saves me the unnecessary expensive vet bill.
you may not be an animal doctor - but they can sense your care for animals and come to you for help -
Princess brought home 2 wild bunnies - and they were sick - they lasted a week and then died - it broke her little heart
and that is how she got their dog - found him on the street -
this kid is going to own an animal shelter some day - she loves animals of all kinds
