Tuna Sandwiches

When I was young my mom would make tuna sandwiches with mayo, maybe some diced celery, which I perceive to be the norm for the most part. Once a few months ago, I was in a pinch, and I saturated my tuna from the can with Italian salad dressing. It was really good, so I was wondering if anyone else has any other substitutes for their own twist on tuna sandwiches....

tuna with Italian makes a great filling for stuffing celery stalks as well

tuna with mayo, celery, onion, pimiento, carrot chips (grated carrots), relish or pickles

tuna with cream of ???? soup for a nice hot sammie

tuna, Italian dressing or olive oil, sun-dreid tomatoes, pepperoncini, onions

I've also enjoyed tuna salad w/ a little grated Granny Smith Apple in it, and fine-chopped raw carrot. Oh, and chopped hard-boiled egg...

Tuna with a LOT of Granny Smith Apple in it (sorry Kevin), onion, celery, lemon juice, olive oil, only a touch of mayo and mustard. I get a lot of tuna salad from a 4.5 ounce can. Oh, and if there is any red or green bell pepper left around, it's not safe either.
