An urgent message to all members and guests -

Dianccy, I just read this message for the firs time. I want to thank you and

everyone who posted here for your support. My daughter had a procedure that changed the diagnosis. The surgeon found, once he made the invasive, that she has Sarcoidosis, the disease that commedian Ernie Mac had.

She has an appointment with the pulmonary spe******t this coming week. I have learned that Johns Hopkins in Baltimore actually has a sarco clinic, meaning a separate area of the hospital that they treat just these patients, so I want her to be treated there. Because of this they have more knowledge with treating the disease than any other hospital in the area.

I just read a definition of Sarcoidosis, it sounds quite serious and I really hope your daughter responds well to her treatment course, I am very relieved and elated that your daughter does not have lymphatic cancer, and my prayers will stay with her.

Thank you for your kind words and concern. She saw

a pulmonoligist and was told that she is in Stage 1 of the disease. She has 100% lung capacity, appears to be doing very well and does not require medication at this point in time. He told her most folks who suffer the severe symptoms are not Caucasian, usually Asian. He wants her to have the eyes checked periodically because it does cause blindness in some. Please continue to keep her in your prayers :)

MsMai I am so happy to read that she does not have cancer! I pray this condition will be so minor that she will never need medication! Thank you for sharing your great news with us!

God Bless You, Cathy

I'm so Happy to hear the Good News about your Daughter!! I will keep Praying for her. Cookie :)

Thanks to each of you from the bottom of my heart. Prayers, please. Mama, where ya' been? So good to see you again.

A good friend of mine was diagnosed with lymphoma about a year and a half ago. She was very scared, and the disease was moving quickly. She received excellent medical treatment, and an abundance of prayers and support from those closest to her. She underwent the prescribed treatments, is now in remission, and doing great. Her latest PET scan was completely clear.

Have faith, MsMai. You and your family are not alone - - and it sounds like you have recently received good news - which is excellent. I will keep you in my prayers.

Continued best wishes and good health to you and your family from CucinadiNana!
