I'm not over-reacting one way or the other. When things of this nature occur I roll my eyes equally at those who rush to get poked w/ the newest, biggest/best/brightest needle- AND those conspiracy-theorists who think it's some gov't scam to get us all loaded into a space-ship and darted off to Mars or the Bermuda Triangle, or Waco. WHACKOS- one and all! :)

I hope all of you avoid the flu.
Just like CanMan every single time I go into a store I hear and see someone hacking and coughing right out into the air not even trying to cover their face. Parents will be in line at the checkout with small children who are coughing all over the place. If their not ill then the checkout person will be coughing right into their hand and then pass you back your change. That is the reason I tell Jon to stay in the car. I have been trying to get anything I need very early before the stores get crowded.
Gotta love my father in law. That man never gets sick. He must have one heck of an immune system.

I'm not changing anything I do, or places I go. I think there is a lot of fear being fed upon. I see people who love nothing more than having something to fear, or complain about. If it's not the flu, it's something else. I'll stop now before I really start ranting.
:D

Rick we must be related, I like you avoid nothing, I do as I normally would. I do not make an effort to go hang out at an ER or any Dr.'s offices, but that is normal and I would go if necessary:rolleyes: I just hope I have an immune system that is sort of on the good side and pray for the best, of-course being sick is not fun, but it is life and does happen. I just personally try not to panic, I feel that does a number on one's immune system in and of itself! Beside if I do croak any time soon, aw well I have had a full life and from what I hear the Golden Years are full of aches and pains:D which at 52 I am just beginning to experience!

Hey you two kids, I am 67, still work a very physical job, walk and strength train on a regular basis.
So keep moving, keep your mind busy, eat clean but do have treats.
Except for a short episode in 2002,have not had a flu bug that shut me down since 1996.

My cool doctor who is my friend respects my option to not get a flu shot. He did suggest and I accepted a pneumonia shot since I have asmtha.

Hugs, Nan
