Banana Bread

8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 cup mashed bananas
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch salt
1 cup nuts, chopped

Combine cream cheese, sugar and butter together and cream together well. Add bananas and eggs; mix well. Add dry ingredients, mixing until moistened. Fold in nuts. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 for one hour. Makes 1 loaf.

Helpful Hint: When baking breads, place a small dish of water in the oven. This will help to keep the crust from getting too brown or too hard.
