OH! I see now - about the craft stores. Now that I think about it, our mom & pop craft stores sell jellies too. Guess I know where I'll be going next to look for bread!!
OH! Can't believe I hadn't thought of this before! I bet I could find it online somewhere to show all ya'll what I'm talking about. Probably not the best place to buy it because of costs & cost of shipping but maybe they can tell me what stores they sell it in. I'll have to do a search later and see what I can come up with.

Do you have a Cracker Barrel Restaurant around where you live? Because they might be another good option. I love that place.

The closest one is 40+ miles away. They sell food there? No, wait, that sounded stupid. Of course they sell food there. *laughs* What I meant was do they sell food for you to take home and cook yourself??Do you have a Cracker Barrel Restaurant around where you live? They havea section that they sell candies and then those jars with the cookie or cake mix, various jarred things... so I'm thinking they *might* have something there? I'm determined to find a place that sells this!

Ok - I found a link online for someone who sells it. I'm not recommending that you go to this site and pay their price (plus shipping) for it. Just wanted ya'll to see it. This is actually the same brand that I had. I know it's the same because it's hard to forget when someone puts BM on their label. *laughing*

That is really neat, a little different than I expected! Is it as moist as it looks when you open the can?

Actually, the bread that I had was almost too moist. Closer to soggy. I would imagine that every can isn't the same as the one I had. Probably didn't help that it was a dented can. *laughs*
It comes out of the can completely edible, but it's better when warmed. Some cream cheese makes a really good addition.
When hubby said "bread in a can" I thought he meant like a pre-made mix. I didn't think of something that was edible immediately. Like you said mtmomj, it wasn't what I expected..... That's why I found a picture of it for ya'll.

Has anyone else ever seen this? The kind I had before was some sort of raisin & cinnamon bread...... and yes.... in a can!
It was edible straight out of the can, but tasted better after warmed for a bit in the oven.
If you've ever seen this in stores.... where??? What store & what area of the store? THANKS
I have never seen bread in a can strange.
