Cooking spray *without* soy ingredients?

I cannot eat soy products b/c my son is allergic to them (i am breastfeeding). I needed to buy cooking spray yesterday and upon reading the ingredients i learned that *every single one* has soy lecithin in it or some other soy product. What can i use for cooking spray instead? Can i just brush the surfaces with oil and make sure there's not too much?
 
Oh what a huge pain!

Does regular olive oil have any soy products in it? Somewhere I have a little pump bottle to spray olive oil on things...maybe that would work.
 
He is sensitive to all soy products - the protein, the oil, the lecithin. If i eat anything with soy ingredients in them he shows symptoms.

I could probably get one of those manual pump bottles and use that with olive oil - the reason there is soy in all the aerosal sprays is to prevent caking/clumping (that's what it says on the labels).
 
I was about to recommend the olive oil sprayer as well. I have one and it works well. Much healthier than the aerosol sprays.

I wouldn't recommend it for baking just because olive oil has a taste that I wouldn't like in my cookies ;) but for other cooking it works great.

I often use it to oven-fry things...I dip them in egg wash and breadcrumbs, put them on a baking pan, and spray with olive oil so they brown nicely.
 
I have a can of Organic Pam spray and checked the label for you...it's got that soy lecithin in it, too. Bah!
 
Soy Products

I was going to recommend the same thing.
 
Pam For Grilling, which is their high-temperature formula, does not contain soy products.

It's the only non-stick spray I could find that doesn't. Even the olive oil versions contain some soy.
 
Soy free

I think baker sprays are okay.

Such as Bakers Joy from Nordicware and Bake Easy from Wilton.

But they are flour based. And I wanted to confirm on their website but, was unable to find ingredients.

My kids also have soy allergies. We ended up going with a pump they sell at costco that you can put any oil in.
