After a while of wanting one, we finally got a juicer a few weeks ago and so far it's been great! I usually make a glass with my breakfast every morning. Right now I am drinking a blend of

about 3/4 c cranberries
3/4 granny smith apple
3 med carrots
a few strawberries

Yum!

My aunt had an orange juicer when I was a kid, you know the kind where you slice the orange/grapefruit in half, put it on a plastic piece that fits into it, push down and turn. I used it once, got juice in my eye, and vowed I would never touch the thing again. I'm sure juicers have come along way since then, they'd have to for you to be drinking carrot juice, LOL. I just don't think the juicer my aunt had would work well with carrots.

I have the old fashioned juicers - push and turn - but many years ago I bought an electric juicer (not like the ones today) and I have gotten so much use out of it! I can juice any fruit or veggies with it; it has a feeder tube and the push thingie like a meat grinder and it has a 1-qt. capacity pour spout container. The juicer/grinder part looks like a copper coffee filter - strange contraption - but it works really well.

Yes I am not talking about the old fashion juicers, those are a lot of work!
Mine is an electic one like Mama Mangia described. I got it from Bed Bath and Beyond. With all those coupons they mail out, it was $20 off :D

I have never use juicer.
Whats the price of that guys?
I am needing to buy one.
