Favorite craft.

Your welcome clara. I can't cross-stitch much right now either, I've been having eye issues since I had the baby. I keep meaning to call the dr & get an appt to have him look at my eyes, but I always forget to make that call.

One summer when I was young ,we went on a vacation to a beach resort, and there was a fellow that made custom molded multi-color candles. They were soo cool with all of the shapes and colors. Ever since then I've been thinking of making similar candles. There is a new soy wax available that's natural, and I've been thinking of starting by making highly scented container candles, and selling them at the weekend craft fairs. If that makes it I might jump into the molded candles. Anyone ever done this? Is this too competitive?

My favorite craft is Lara Craft! :D

Joking aside, I love making candles and beaded necklaces. I cross stitch too. Our house is full of my mom's work and some of mine.

I like to do Latch Hooks, cross stitching, and the plastic needlepoint things. I haven't had much of a chance to since working and having my daughter! I wish I had more time for things like that.

I would also really like to get into making candles.

I have been looking at learning how to do glass etching and stained glass. I wonder how hard this is to do. Does anyone do this?

lcsamano - I did a very basic glass etching for Christmas, but it made a perfect gift. I etched a name into the bottom of a pyrex pan. But I guess I didn't really etch it as much as I used an etching cream - but it was still fun and simple. :)
