I got a Kitchen Aid Mixer after years of wanting one, and make the best bread with it without having to knead the dough. And I don't get the hole in the bottom of the finished loaf like the bread makers leave there. I also bought the vegetable shredder that hooks into the front of the mixer and can attest that it makes great hash brown potatoes, thin sliced cucumbers, and more. It's absolutely amazing to me how much change of taste there is between hand sliced cucumbers and the thin ones from the slicer. Really, The 1/8" thick slices are juiceir and have a lot more taste then the ones I've sliced by hand.
