I don't have many, but those I have I use a lot!

I have a

bread maker - I don't use it as much as I used to because of my diabetes

rice cooker - this is a MUST at my house now!

2 food processors (a regular one and a mini one) I used the mini one more now that I'm alone.

tools to make veggies & fruits look fancy (the kids use them more than I do)

indoor grill thingie (I use this a lot)

What do you have and do you use them?

Genuine stone mortar & pestle - it looks soooooo cool but we use it rarely

Vegetable steamer

Serving dishes (i have really nice Nambe and fine china serving dishes that i haven't used once since i got married).

I have a Sunbeam chicken rotisserie that makes a nice tasting chicken. It's different from what you think of as rotisserie as the chicken sits verticle instead of horizontal.

I have my Mom's electric ice cream maker and have only used it twice. It makes great ice cream. It seems that when I think about making ice cream I never have all the ingredients necessary and when I am at the grocery store I don't think about making ice cream so I don't get the items I need to make ice cream. One of the times that I made ice cream I made cherry vanilla ice cream. I even used Bing cherries that I pitted. It tasted great. I really must get it out and make some ice cream....perhaps this labor day weekend.

I would like a smoothie maker as a 'fancy gadget' but i don't know where i'd have room for it.

I have a pressure cooker, but I hardly used it now. That's a fancy white elephant.

Bought a small George Foreman Indoor Grill recently and used that quite a bit to warm up my bread (I prefer this to using the toaster or oven cos I can then spread the peanut butter and jam first before grilling!)

Rice cooker to me is a need, rather than a fancy item since I eat a lot of rice.

Welcome to my food blog

I had a Foreman Grill once, but thought it was too hard to clean. If I could have removed the grilling plates and put them in the sink or dishwasher I would have kept it.

I'm pretty basic, so my fanciest cooking gadget would be a T-Fal deep fryer. We don't use it too much, but I love onion rings made with Vidalia onions. It's a sin, I know, but there isn't much like fresh made Vidalia Onion Rings.

I'd love to get one of those Kitchen-Aid mixers with the dough hook, and meat grinder but resist it since I can knead by hand and get good ground meat locally.

What I'd really love to have would be a small steam kettle, like the cooked with when I was in the service. They're remarkably versitile cooking kettles.

I have a bread maker which i don't use. I also have a expresso maker which my husband uses occasionally. I love my crockpots that I have. those are the only fancy gadgets that I have.

I have tooooooooo many! Just because I am a kitchen nut everyone buys me something with a plug on it! And some of the same ones in different sizes; even duplicates. The gift-givers mean well - and I will try a new gizmo at least once. If I like it - I use it much more than that.

Please - I don't need a sixth crockpot, or a another chopper/grinder/slicer, or another food processor. Those little processors are nice for many things - but 4 is more than I could ever use, and I still have the big one!

I don't have a bread machine - I put the word out immediately when they first came out - buy me one of those and I stop making homemade bread!

It's a shame when a new appliance comes out I have to threaten everyone not to buy it! What do they think I am - the hostess of one of those infomercials on TV??

I actually get excited when I burn out an appliance!!! Of course - I don't do it on purpose. But when one bites the dust I just surrender it to the trash bag.

Not all that many. I'm pretty simple and don't use a lot of fancy gadgets. The one I do have and just love is my mini food processor. I use it a LOT, especially to shred chicken for quesadillas, casseroles, etc.

Jeez, I only have a few, rice cooker 2 actually which we dont use, we like to cook rice in an stainless steel pot, and a blender and a toaster. We're not too hightech hehe.

I have only a few also. I have a rice cooker. I also have a kitchenaid mixer, coffee maker. and toaster oven.

About as fancy as I get is my coffee machine & the only reason its fancy is because it has a delay brew option that I use all the time.

Something really fancy, that I'd love to get, is that Magic Bullet on TV. That thing would solve my need for a blender and food processor all in one. But I know they are really expensive & I just can't bring myself to spend that much on me right now.

I just remembered that I have another gadget that not everyone might have, a cuisinart countertop ice cream machine. I made ice cream last night and remembered how much I like having the machine.

When we first got it (wedding gift) I wasn't sure we'd use it that much. I don't have the patience to mix a bunch of ingredients together and then let it mix. But I started out making chocolate ice cream with pudding and that's about the only "recipe" I use anymore. 2 pkgs of pudding and 3-4 cups of milk and then toss it in. Super simple!

I have my knives, pots and pans if you consider it as fancy. I also have a rice cooker and I don't even have a microwave oven. I used to have a microwave but it broke down five years ago. I never had a chance to have it fixed because I don't use them anyway.

I buy a lot of things from Amazon and Ebay so now I have a few. I don't even call these fancy. I think my items are weird.

Pancake dispenser
Milkshake maker
Ice cream maker
Waffle maker
Rice cooker
George Foreman Grill
Rotisserie
Automatic Juice Extractor
Dual Basket Deep Fryer - I don't really need this!

I just bought a mandoline yesterday with a C&B gift card that was burning a hole in my pocket from Christmas. I'm so excited! Last night I made homemade potato chips. YUM!

I can't wait to use it for other things. What a fun gadget!

I've thought about getting a mandoline, I just don't know how much I'd use it. Of course, this summer when I'm endlessly slicing veggies I'll probably really wish I had one.

Hmm..looks like my kitchen is quite poorly equipped.
I just have a mixer-grinder. Though I doubt that is fancy!
I want to get a japanese mandoline and a coffee grinder too.
