Oooh! That DOES sound really good. I will definately have to try that sometime.

I love frozen drinks.

my favorite is the Signature Pina Coloda at Cheeseburger in Paradise.

It has in it:

Coco Lopez Coconut Cream
Real Pineapple
Mango
Papaya Nectar
Parrot Bay Coconut Rum

Topped with Fresh Strawberries, Pineapples and Blackberries!

YUM!!!!!!!!!

There are some great ideas here. My work holiday party is this weekend so I may try a few of these out.

I saw a great recipe on a plane last night, in the inflight mag. I can't find it on their website now but it had Godiva, Grand Marnier, some vanilla something or other, and I forget what else.

Sorry, I guess this post is a little pointless, but man that looked tasty!

My favorite's are:
Kahlua and Creme
Mudslides (especially Applebee's, thanks for the recipe Mama Mangia)
and Pina Colada's
I also like Tom Collins, Amaretto Sour, and I am going to have to make the frozen Tiramisu, sounds heavenly.

I have a couple of recipes for baileys and kahlua I will have to haul them out and post them for you. Bailey's and Kahlua are pretty pricey at the store.

Bailey's Irish Cream
1 3/4 cups Irish whiskey
1 teaspoon instant coffee
1 (14 ounce) can condensed milk
1 cup whipping or light cream
2 tablespoons chocolate-flavored syrup
4 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

In blender container combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Serve over ice, if desired. Store in a tightly covered container in refrigerator where it can be stored up to one month. Stir before serving.

Kahlua Recipe
Makes 5 cups.4 c. sugar
2 c. boiling water
1 c. instant coffee
3 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 fifth 80 proof vodka

Mix dry ingredients together, then add boiling water. Mix until dissolved. Let cool and add vodka. Put into bottles and enjoy.

That sounds really good. I actually have everything but the chocolate liquour. I might have to get some and try to make one.

I cant handle alcoholic drinks with milk in them. Im not sure why but they just dont sit right. I like pre-mixed bacardi breezers but Id love some recipes for bacardi drinks I can make myself!

loubear - AWESOME! How easy can it be? and liquor stores charge a bundle for something so easy to make yourself. might have to give it a try soon!

I just love me some martinis.......I think they are fun and yummy......but some of these drinks....makes me want them

I'm glad I came across this thread! I don't have any recipes to share, but I'm almost done nursing my baby, so I'm ready to have myself a nice drink. Thanks!

sarahlorrain - I'm in the same boat. I've either been pregnant or nursing for nearly 2 years now and have been itching for just a taste lately. I did have myself several glasses of wine on Christmas Eve and it was wonderful!

just fyi, I've heard that you can have A drink or so as long as you're not nursing within 2 hours afterwards. I waited longer (like 10 hours) after I'd had anything to drink, but it might be somethin' you could think about :)
