Mama, with a grain of salt. I ignored the "tell us more" for as long as I could, thinking it would just go away. Who cares what I do or don't do? I just like to make/create tasty food. Like today for example, I'm just having a plain meal of 1/2 doz PEI oysters and some store bought sausage and homemade fries. I have frozen 1/2 half my Xmas turkey, which I smoked with cherry and finished in the oven.
In my time I have found that discovering a woman's personality and psyche was more profound when it evolved, rather than reading a resume, comprende?

Thanks, I do pay attention to sensible advise and good intentions. Now you see why I tried to avoid that "intro" stuff, it just turns into a protracted volley, which is what I was trying to elude in the first place.

Iguanas freak me out although I have hand fed them in Cuba. Goldfish are ok especially the whole grain variety

Thanks Rick, I like organics too. I have found goldfish(diggers) too wet and slimy, especially the Cuban variety. Too much linen to wash.

excuse me - but in "my" day - goldfish were consumed - if they were alive they went down easy - if they got stuck in your throat - they were dead

it was a big thing for the guys (and some girls) to do........

not me - goldfish swim in circles in a little bowl and you feed them daily - they are not to be downed with a beer

and by the way - beer was invented for making beer batter fish and beer batter onion rings

Agreed, the water was boiled to make ale, not beer. Then it was safe to drink. Even kids had it with all meals, if their parents loved them. Evidentaly it worked or we would not be playing this modern charade. Thank the higher powers for two row barley.

When I was a kid my folks farmed us out to any number of local churches on Sunday mornings just to keep us out of the house and out from under their feet... the BEST for them were the ones that would actually come pick us up with their bus and return us home- no work for them! Anyway, one summer our church held a membership drive where all kids were encouraged (urged) to bring friends and the pastor pledged to swallow a goldfish on the Sunday School Bus as we all witnessed everytime we increased the buses' number of passengers by a dozen kids! I agree w/ mama- at one time, swallowing goldfish was all the rage!
