Scalloped Oysters and Scallops

For anyone who loves true New England seafood as much as my family and I do, this casserole is the ultimate!!

Ingredients:

1 quart of oysters
1 pint scallops
1 C cream
2 C bread crumbs
1/2 C melted butter
1 tbls. celery seed
Salt and pepper to taste


Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Mix the melted butter and bread crumbs together and put a thin layer in the bottom of a buttered baking dish. Cover with oysters and seasonings; add some of the cream. Add a layer of scallops, seasonings and a layer of crumbs. Add another layer of oysters and the remaining cream. Top with remaining scallops and buttered crumbs and bake in hot oven for 30 minutes.
