My father always had tofu around the house. He wasn't a vegetarian, but tried to limit eating of red meat. I grew accustomed to eating tofu and enjoy it. I haven't had the same success passing on this food to my wife. But when she's out of town or working late, and take advantage of the opportunity and make this salad.
Tofu Salad Recipe
Tofu Salad Dressing
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp Japanese rice wine
toasted sesame seeds
Tofu Salad Ingredients
1 block of tofu cut into bite sized pieces
1 large can salmon
1 medium onion, sliced thinly
2 tomatoes, cut into bite sized cubes
green onion, cut fine
Chinese cabbage, cut fine
Arrange the tofu, salmon, and vegetables on a platter in the order listed. Season with dressing just before serving.
