Where do you keep your recipes?

I finally put all of my recipes down on paper and made a cookbook (for myself, to use as gifts, and to sell for a little extra Christmas cash). They're all stored nicely in a 3 ring binder (until I start finding new stuff and stuffing loose pages in there!)

Sorry, but all my recipes are in my head. In fact, I recently tried to write one down and found that I could not. I know how to make all of them, but I don't measure anything and have no idea how to tell someone how to make something without showing them.

I think sometimes cooking is a bit like driving. It's a bit difficult to tell someone how much to turn the steering wheel to make a 3-point turn or to do reverse or parallel parking, heh!

My dear husband bought me one of those recipe boxes. It is a wooden one. I keep them in there in alphabetical order. Also I have some bookmarked in my favorites file on the pc

I usually keep mine in a big binder folder, its really messy. Reminds me to clean it up

I usually have one album like collection. I keep them on clearbooks so it will be easily available for me. I would not want to collect them in the computer because if there's power failure the recipe won't be available. But I also keep a back up copy there just in case.

2 laptops packed with recipes, 1 regular computer packed, tons of disks and cd's, and a complete library of books..................I think I need professional help.............

ROFLOL! Boy have I been there Mama! I used to have four 4 inch binders full of recipes, and on the pc and several disks. and a software program (mastercook) that I crashed 4 times. After entering 600 recipes into the software 3 times it and having it crash again. I got rid of that and went to Microsoft Word and created a template and use that to enter my recipes and keep them on my pc and backed up on a jump drive. all catagorized and sorted.

That reminds me.. would you tell your mom-in-law your secret recipe???

I ve loads of recepies stored on my notebook, plus i stick the cuttings out of newspapers , magazines onto A4 sheet n file those.
cook books lie on my shelves with the rest ..
