Since we all love to cook (obviously) and everyone loves a good bargain, I thought I'd start a thread to share where you've found the best sale/deals on groceries. This popped into my head after a wonderful trip to Target yesterday. I saved $28 in coupons and got tons of stuff.

Some of my bargains - -

16 oz (?) jar of salsa - $.49 each
2 c. grated cheese (tons of varieties) - $.52 each
large cans of black olives - FREE
10 ct. flour tortillas - $.39 each
12 ct. hard taco shells - $.29 each
Kraft mac & cheese - $.10 each

I have coupons for lots of stuff at Target, let me know if you're interested and I can post the link. The best part about Target grocery coupons is there's no limit to how many you can print!

Wow you did great, I don't get coupons for target here, and the one in my city doesn't sell food. I do most my shopping at walmart, but I also have a discount grocery store near me. I go there for anythig that isn't perishable. I get name brand cereal for $1 a box, fruit snacks for .10 a piece, hamburger helper for .75 a box, and so on. They have so much and everything is pretty much a dollar or less, so I don't really worry about coupons unless they are for milk or meat.

Great thread!

I'd love that link for Target coupons. Sometimes I shop there, sometimes at Safeway, depending on what I need. I find that both stores can have different stock (for instance, only Target has canned chipotles) so my trips are sometimes driven by what I go there for.

The target in my area doesn't sell full on groceries. They just sell you basics ie: chips, cookies, candy, soda and a few thinks in cold cases. I usually do my shopping at Walmart since they are cheaper than most of the grocery stores around. However, I wouldn't mind the link. Maybe there are coupons for other items.

Thanks for the link medako. I never knew I could find Target coupons online. I love Target, but the closest one is about 45 minutes away. I am new to this forum, but really appreciate all of the information everyone shares here!

Thanks for the links. I love looking for coupons in the internet. If you sum what you've saved for the year just using coupons, you would realize you could buy yourself a nice pair of jeans :D.

Are there not coupons elsewhere? I do not have a target where I live..probably there is not one anywhere for miles:(

other manufacturer coupons can be found in newspapers. Also, if you have a particular name brand product you're looking for, you can visit the company website and often times request coupons.
