Hi Cathy,
yes I'm a Leo lol..thanks for the b/day wishes. I'm just putting my recipe on & saw your message. Yes I did see the Tom Hanks movie where he was in the airport...but I think my favourite is Saving Private Ryan, probably because my Dad was a Commando & landed at Sword Beach on D Day, makes me sad though 'cause he lost all his friends.

I am a big Tom Hanks fan, besides many wonderful movies he is also into astronomy (star-gazing) and that is also one of my hobbies! Did you ever catch his movie where he is a foreigner who is confined to the airport and unable to leave? Another good one I liked alot!
And shoot I almost forgot a belated Happy Birthday to you!!! My sis & Dad are both born in August...LEO hear me ROAR!!!!!

As usually nobody cooked for me, but i invited my 40 guest, and prepared the usual enormous quantity of food... and it was even good!

It means they misbehaved and acted in a manner unacceptable by forum standards and were banned from ever posting here again! Usually with good cause, and sometimes it is just a mystery they just get banned and -poof- they are gone!!!

J....The shelter told me that Allie didn't like treats or canned food. NOT!!!!! She's such a little begger whenever I go into the kitchen. I opened a can of Sheba duck/chicken and she almost grabbed it out of my hand before I could scrape it into her bowl. We go to the vet tomorrow. I put a collar with a bell on her this afternoon and she tried to take it off then was really aloof toward me until I opened up the Sheba.

I'm going to make some zucchini bread tonight. Had to go to the grocery and get baking powder and soda and zucchini a while ago. So I'm back in for the evening and have to sit and rest a bit before I go back to the kitchen. It'll still take a little while to do as I can't stand for too long at a time anymore.

CC...thank you for friend request. I am just getting up and around and letting my daily meds take effect (osteoarthritis and neck problems). I usually spend most of the night awake and then hit the bed early morning. My body has been on the night shift for years. I worked as RN night shift for the majority of my working days and now I can't seem to get 'rearranged'.

I read how you had rescued a darling cat and I am so touched that I want to request that we be friends. I am from North Georgia and do not live too far from KY. We actually went to a KOA and camped last summer in Renfroe Valley KY and loved it there! I hope we can be friends and look forward to your relply!

I am totally self-taught in watercolor! I have loved the medium since my treen yrs. I only got serious in 1997 and began in-depth study into techniques and styles of watercolour painting!

I only wish I had time to persue it full-time!
