I never ever thought of using it for grilled cheese. what a great idea....I bet that would be an easy way for my kids to make an after school snack!

I LOVE my George Foreman. I made two New Year's Entrees there in, like, less than an hour!

I have a really big George Foreman that I used to use more, but it's one of the older ones where the plates don't come out and it's a pain to clean. Mostly now, I only pull it out if I'm making a lot of grilled cheese sandwiches.

tcinsa - I have a couple G.F. grills including the big one - and I use it for so much. An easy way to clean is to really wet a couple paper towels and lay them on the grill - close the top. Remember to leave the "catch cup" under it to catch the water and yucky stuff that will come off. It's just like soaking a pan for washing and it will clean up easy for you.

I've never tried that, mama, but it sounds like it would work great. I liked the fact that my boys could make different things quickly for themselves but they regularly "forgot" to clean the grill when done. I'll bet even they would do the paper towel thing! Thanks.
