I have centerpieces for holidays,for my formal dining table, but not my kitchen table. My kids would tear it up.

I don't decorate the table for holidays at all. Our table isn't very big and we don't usually have anyone over that would see the decorations anyway. Maybe when we get into a bigger house and are more likely to have dinner guests, I'd be more likely to decorate the table.

I don't decorate the table for holidays. The kids just pull off the table cloth and want to play with any decorations/centerpeices on the table.

I decorate the table on special occasions only. Layered tableclothes are still elegant to the eyes, long but not touching the ground. A centerpiece makes it more attractive, especially silver centerpieces.
