Wouldn't the soy milk in shelf-stable cartons be the equivalent of canned milk? I think it should work fine.

I think regular soy milk or rice milk would work fine. I've never seen canned soy milk, but then again, I've never looked for it either.

is there soy canned milk or just regular cows milk? My daughter is allergic and found a recipe i wanted to try but it says i need 1 cup canned milk. If there isn't canned soy milk is it ok just to use regular soy milk?

Our local stores carry soy milk in regular gallon containers right next to regular cow's milk. Hope that you can find this
you might want to call around and see before the search and hunt begins. Good luck!!!!!!! Also you can buy it powdered (our son had a milk allergy when he was young) and just add water.
