The recipe club sounds like a lot of fun!! LOL @ the kitchen nuts. I'd be in the "some can't boil water" part. *smiles* The rules are great...especially the no hubbies allowed. :)

I'm starting to think I may have to do some kitchen pop-ins. *laughs*

You said that the first time around, there's to tweaking allowed. So where do you get your recipes from originally?

Many of us have worked in restaurants, delis, etc. I think you would enjoy our little "jam" sessions - yeah we had one of those with all homemade jams!!!

Most of the cooking is done in our own kitchens (should I tell you the story of the night - about 1 AM - we barged in on a friend's pizzeria - after they were all cleaned and ready to close - and we started cooking???) We had a blast! We brought all our own food, pans, utensils - not to use too much of the restaurants items - and we cooked up a storm! Partied till about 4 and went home - exhausted!!! But it was a kitchen big enough for a bunch of us to play in without getting into each others way! We even made "strange" pizzas - LOL! And yes - we did clean up our mess!

But after we cook we meet for lunch, coffee, whatever - or we meet at someone's house and try our concoctions. When all else fails - there are a few hubbies that would eat anything - no matter how bad it was - so it saves on excess garbage! LOL! Reminds them of college days and cooking for themselves - so they say.

But I think you would enjoy it very much - move closer!

You're welcomed! I will miss all this when I move (moving out of state) but I hope to start a nice group of kitchen loonies to have fun with! It really is a lot of fun.
