You hit the nail on the head, I am really dreading it! Maybe I can leave the dubious task up to my fiance', and hope he doesn't call the engagement off:o. Then I'll just come home to the baked version!!!
In another day gone by, I could not have been more than 27 yrs old we raised and butchered our own, and here I was city born & bred and never even cleaned a fish much less. Then I had this groovy hubby who hunted, fished, farmed, and taught me all this cool "livin off the fat o da land" thing and I really did not mind at all. One season we cleaned a whole flock of chickens.
For some reason it just does not appeal to me now! I am wondering if there is a local butcher shop that will dress them out for me, I am going to find out that's for sure!
