CF - I am the biggest chicken in the world - my blood type is YELLOW - I like puppies - dogs like to "sample" me - absolute fear of German shepards - attacted by one when I was 4 - 5 years old. Kittens are cute - don't like cats - don't trust them. Can't take feathers - seeing a snake shed it's skin makes me sick to my stomach (not a pretty sight - can't take peeling skin from sunburn either), the only thing I like that crawls are babies.
I'll just hide in the house after dark - LOL

I'm going to bait some this year and thin them out some. You need a bait they can't carry off so I use a gallon bucket of hog lard (the cheap lard - not veggy oil) and apply it to a rough barked tree with a putty knive. Get some up higher then they can reach too and let the rain bring it down. All canines are attracted to grease so don't be surprised if you see the neighbers dog licking on that tree too.

Jp, guess I missed your post some how, sorry about that. I don't kill anything any more, unless it is attracting me. I just put out food and water. I have been eying the squirrels, they are looking kinda fat. I don't think they are in any real danger. CF

We get a lot of raccoons and deer around this building at night and we are just on the edge of town on a busy street.

Squirrels rarely have much to worry about from coyotes unless they're caught too far from a tree. It's the rabbits that are just about wiped out by them.
