We had 102 degrees last week and our local forcast called it a cool front. I quess it was down a bit from our usual 107 here in North Louisiana.

We still have humidity and I still have one baby that will not go home - he is going to stay forever - at least until he is 85 he says - well let's see - he is 9 right now - so I think I have my work cut out for me.
They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach - and I have the dishpan hands to prove it!
Today he IS going home - and he wants to come back for the weekend - geez - sure does give me a lot of time to rest, do laundry, clean and fill the house with food again!
5:30 this morning - it was brownies and milk
7:30 was a fresh fruit salad
and I am on my way into the kitchen shortly to make my famous scrambled eggs (he loves them and would eat them every day), breakfast sausage and toast.....................

Mama, if you find the time after all that cooking with love and the cleaning. We could use some cooler weather and rain. 105° here yesterday. And over 50 days with no rain. I am happy that y'all are getting some relief.
sound like eating good in the neighbor hood to me, love it. CF:)

We still have the humidity - it's not as super hot as it was - but it is still uncomfortable. But yet you can still feel that autumn is coming - there is a strangeness in the air.

When the babies are here - they choose the menu - but they are good eaters and they love fruits, veggies, salads, chicken, steak, pork, BBQ, pasta, sammies, soups, stews, desserts - so it can be just about anything - what ever they want.

I know for sure I have to make another ice cream cake before the weekend - that is a must - especially if his sister stays too.
